SIR – With the Government hell bent on making cuts, which include our security and policing, stark reports indicate that we cannot simply control our borders as it is, let alone make cuts in this sector.
Thirty three per cent of all rapists and murderers in UK prisons are foreign.
Our prisons are full, yet we have no knowledge who we let into the country.
Last year the cost alone for translators was a staggering £34 million, That’s enough to pay for an extra 1,000 police officers.
With Britain a soft touch in handouts, it’s a mecca for foreign criminals to come and try their luck here.
These figures demonstrate the high proportion of crime that is the result of uncontrolled immigration.
It’s time to make your votes count and to back the political parties that not only care, but will do something about it.
