SIR – It’s not so long ago David Cameron said he wanted to re-balance the economy and support British manufacturing, which is vital for jobs and growth.
So why is it new trains to run in Britain are being manufactured abroad?
It was Britain who invented the train and has been making trains for the last 150 years until the last Tory administration sold part of it off.
So come on, Mr Cameron, support British manufacturing.
