SIR – The business people of Pershore are upset with the council putting up the parking charges (Worcester News, June 23).
If anything, they should reduce parking charges.
By putting them up people move to other towns and supermarkets where parking is free.
By putting them up, no one wins.
With less people doing business in the town the traders won’t be able to pay their huge business rates.
So reduce parking charges.
