SIR – Harry Turner’s apology (Worcester News, July 25) before the health overview and scrutiny committee is the latest in a series of faux pas by chairman of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust Mr Turner and makes his position pretty much indefensible.
Withholding details of the critical report into conditions at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch is a deal-breaker.
The public must have confidence in the chairman and board of their local health services.
Mr Turner has broken that trust.
Mr Turner should have come clean and faced up to tough questioning from Roger Berry and his committee.
When exactly he is going to resign as trust chairman?
