SIR – I would like to send the Worcester News a huge thank you for including me in the list of festival organisers in the Comment section on Thursday, August 25, for my work with the Worcestershire Literary Festival.
To be listed with such great people as Chris Jaeger, Bill Ottoway and Debbie Liggins is truly an honour.
But while I may have started the idea of holding a literary festival it could not and would not have happened without all the volunteers, helpers and stewards who gave their time so freely and who went above and beyond the call of duty for the festival last June.
There are too many to name them all but I would like to give a special thank you to Sylvia Herbert, Ruth Inglis, Mark Robbins, Raven Brookes, Clement Servini and Andy Timms for all their help, support and hard work.
Huge thanks as well to the Worcester News for giving the festival fantastic coverage and support.
The second Worcestershire Literary Festival will take place next year from June 15 to 24 and we are already hard at work organising it.
