SIR – I would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Furlong, Mel and all the helpers at King George V play scheme.
All the children that attended had a great time.
We were taken out on day trips to the safari park, Drayton Manor, Lickey Hills and even for a day plum picking.
On the last day, we went up to Perdiswell Young People’s Centre where there was all sorts of entertainment with other children coming from all over Worcester.
In the evening, we had a prom and talent contest in the pavilion.
The children know how much hard work they do and that it was a big big responsibility looking after us all. We are looking forward to next year.
So once again a big thank you to you all.
