SIR – Having read the extensive reports in the national media concerning the use by the ex-Home Secretary [Jacqui Smith] of some youngsters carrying out unpaid work decorating her house prior to its rental I was surprised to see that this information was limited in the Worcester News to a few virtually unnoticeable words only.
I would have thought that in view of the previous conduct of the ex-Redditch MP the full report and cartoon in the Daily Mail should at least have been matched in content size in our local paper plus a more noticeable editorial comment.
