SIR – Justin Kirby may well be right when he wrote that cyclists are safer on the roads than the pavements (Worcester News, September 21).
Why then cannot something be done to ensure they do so?
It is still against the law to cycle on the pavement, yet we pedestrians have to risk our limbs, if not our lives, daily from the inconsiderate speedsters.
