SIR – As a survivor of non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma and someone who benefited from radiotherapy as part of my treatment, I’m urging everyone in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire to back Cancer Research UK’s Voice for Radiotherapy campaign.
About half of all cancer patients could benefit from radiotherapy.
It’s one of the cornerstones of cancer treatment and helps to cure more patients than cancer drugs.
Despite this, shortages in staff and equipment mean thousands of people in England are missing out on this potentially life-saving treatment.
We are calling on the Government to make worldclass NHS radiotherapy services available to everyone who needs them in the three counties and across the country.
To show your support, please sign Cancer Research UK’s Voice for Radiotherapy petition online at cancercampaigns.org.uk.
Your signature is vital. It could help improve services for cancer patients and help more people, like me, survive.

Cancer Research UK Cancer Campaigns Ambassador, Ledbury
