SIR – I don’t think MPs should not be able to claim expenses for rail travel.
I think they should pay for their train ticket from their salary, the same as other people have to.
This would make them realise how the general public feel when they keep pushing up the price of rail travel.
Britain’s trains are the most expensive in Europe.
