SIR – I am a disabled driver and felt that I must write to you.
All this talk about the traffic problems being caused by the taxis is a load of rubbish.
The problem is that when you get to the traffic lights by The Cross in Worcester, you can get only over the lights if you are very lucky.
They only let about three cars through – that is if you are able to cross, as the traffic from St Nicholas Street is always stuck in the yellow box instead of leaving it empty as it should be.
I wish they would put up a camera which would put a stop to it.
Also, no traffic should be allowed around St Swithin’s Street after a certain time, except any taxis, disabled and delivery vehicles.
