SIR – Re Richard Bird’s letter ‘Blue badge scheme is abused by many’ (Worcester News, September 26).
What waffle, Mr Bird. I really hope he does not get struck down by an illness or have an accident which changes his life completely.
I hope he doesn’t have to experience constant pain which means he would be unable to walk to places he was able to do without a thought before.
I am sure the people who have had to meet very strict criteria to have the help of a blue badge would gladly give it up and pay for parking if all their troubles would disappear and their lives could be normal again.
