SIR – I’d like to say well done to Esther Passingham and her Worcester Community Trust team, who, with Warndon residents, Worcester City officers and councillors, and volunteers presented an impressive state of the art community facility and park to the people of Warndon (Worcester News, September 26).
Several years of planning and hard work have led to this final launch day.
I do hope that the Warndon residents of all ages can now enjoy the fun, education, training, sport and leisure opportunities which are now on offer. It’s wonderful that Worcester City Council initiated and developed this project, which has saved our community centres at a time when many other areas are losing theirs due to lack of financial resources.
