SIR – Through the Worcester News I would like to express my thanks to all the professionals from the emergency services who attended the road traffic accident on the M5 junction 7 on November 25.
The accident resulted in me having to be cut from the car and all involved – the police, fire service and the paramedics – were outstanding.
In the current climate when so much media focus is around overstaffing and pensions in the public sector, I would like people to remember what an excellent service these people supply 24 hours a day throughout the year – long may it continue.
