SIR – Re James Goad’s letter ‘Leaving the EU would not be a disaster’ (Worcester News, May 21). It seems he is one rather confused gentleman.
He says that remaining members of the EU would still want to buy our goods and services if we left.
He then says that EU rules forbid any (remaining) member from entering into a free-trade agreement with any non-EU country (for instance, the post-departure UK). How does that work, then?
