SIR – Birmingham Children’s Hospital is celebrating its 150th anniversary this week – a time to reflect on where we have come from, the care we are currently providing and where we want to be in the future.

From a small hospital treating only a few children back in 1862, to 240,000 children and young people a year in 2012, we look forward to an even bigger, brighter future, leading the way in the care of sick children and young people.

In celebration of our birthday we’ve launched a Facebook page to capture the stories and experiences of patients, families and staff who have a connection with the hospital and want as many people from across Worcestershire to get involved so we can keep these memories alive forever.

We hear many wonderful things about children, young people and families’ experiences with us, now is your chance to share yours.
