SIR – So British Gas has announced that it intends to increase prices again this winter, perhaps by as much as 19 per cent.
This will surely please pensioners and the elderly who cannot afford the prices at best, and also the low wage earners.
And amazingly, British Gas is still ‘rewarding’ its staff with discounts of up to £200.
Surely putting staff before customers is called biting the hand that feeds you?
