SIR – Why has David Cameron not yet sacked or at least suspended, foul-mouthed MP Andrew Mitchell?
His outburst at two police officers guarding him and his colleagues – he is alleged to have called them “plebs” – stinks of upper class, ex-public schoolboys in the Conservative Government who simply are out of touch with the people on the street.
What would happen if the likes of you or me called police officers plebs?
I’m sure we’d get a strict telling off at least.
The Conservatives time and time again show us that they will look after the upper classes while the rest of us can rot (well, until the time comes for us to vote and then we are made to feel important again).
Remember such things at the next election and let’s rid ourselves of such snobbery and vote in a new goverment, giving Britain back to the people.
