BBC Strictly's Tom Fletcher has been showing off his first moves ahead of his first dance on Strictly this Saturday night.

The Mcfly star, 31, introduced his dance partner Amy Dowden on stage at the gig at the AO Arena in Manchester last night.

The crowd couldn't get enough as Fletcher embraced the professional dancer on stage in front of thousands.

The singer and guitarist showed off a cheeky sneak peek of his Cha Cha Cha live on stage during the band's Young Dumb Thrills Tour.

The BBC confirmed yesterday that Tom and Amy will be performing the latin dance to everyone's guilty pleasure song September by Earth, Wind & Fire.

Fletcher announced to the audience that he would be making his dancing debut with the Cha Cha Cha, before putting down his guitar to dance.

Fellow bandmate Dougie Poynter replied: "Holy crap."  as Fletcher unveiled his first moves.

While Harry Judd, drummer and former Strictly winner, provided music for the couple to perform their impromptu routine.

When they finished: Harry shouted: "Tom to win." at the crowd.

Mcfly's adoring fans screamed when Tom asked if they would vote for him and his partner Amy on Saturday night.

It looks liks Tom will need a lot of best wishes from fans after he posted this update on his Twitter during training this week.

According to Betfair, Tom and Amy are among the favourites to win.

Bookmakers have placed hm as join third with Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite at 6/1.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday September 25 2021 at 7pm on BBC One.
