ENGLISH Heritage has launched a nationwide search for its first ever child executive officer (CEO).
The new role has been created as part of its Kids’ Takeover season this summer and English Heritage is now looking for a CEO with a difference to lead this season of events and fun activities at sites such as Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire, Witley Court and Gardens in Worcestershire, Boscobel House in Shropshire, and Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire.
The charity is calling on all children aged 12 or under who love castles, forts and battlefields and who have lots of imagination to put themselves forward for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
To find out more and to apply for the role, visit www.english-heritage.org.uk/kidstakeover. Applications close at midnight on Sunday, June 7.
