THE Woodland Trust is inviting families to pack up a picnic and head to Credenhill Park Wood this Saturday.
Activities on the day include storytelling, the chance to meet a Celt and much more.
Lewis Morrison, site manager for the Woodland Trust, said: “We always love to see families enjoying woods and trees, and can’t wait for people to bring their picnics to Credenhill Park Wood.
"Getting outdoors during the summer holidays is a great way to entertain the kids and we hope everyone takes the opportunity to explore our woods.”
The activities will take place at the top of the hill, so families should be prepared to carry their picnic uphill.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and attendees are advised to wear suitable outdoor clothing and foot gear.
