A CHARITY providing independent advocacy is looking to recruit more volunteers.
Onside, which also provides mentoring and befriending to vulnerable adults facing disadvantage, is in need of volunteers to provide a supportive and reliable relationship to people who suffer from social isolation.
Volunteers are also needed to work in a new bakery and cafe in Worcester and at Droitwich Train Station, and those with experience of using eBay to fundraise for the charity.
Onside’s volunteer manager, Claire Watkins, said: “Our volunteers give their time, their passion and enthusiasm. We need continued help from willing volunteers who would enjoy supporting vulnerable people in their local community.”
As little as four hours a month can be given with full training and the option to working towards an Open College Network qualification.
