A WOMAN is hoping to trace her daughter's mobile phone which went missing at Worcester's Victorian Fayre on Thursday night.
Leanne Gillies believes someone may have accidentally picked up her 12-year-old daughter Lauren-May's phone, recently given to her as a birthday present, believing it belonged to them.
Her daughter had been to the funfair and lost her Samsung phone on a ride.
When she reported it to staff, she was handed a phone which was a Samsung but not her one so she handed it back.
"I think what's happened is someone else has obviously also lost a phone but has been shown my daughter's and thought it was theirs.
"Her phone is a cheap Samsung Trend but looks exactly the same as a Mini so easily done in the dark.
"If you are this person or know of anyone who has been given the wrong phone please contact me - my daughter is heart broken."
They have tried calling the phone but it has been switched off.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the phone should contact leannegillies@yahoo.co.uk.
