THIS strange cloud formation looks like a hole has appeared in the sky.
The picture was taken by Jo Mildren at 8.30am today in Worcester.
She wonders if it is a so-called 'fallstreak'.
According to Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, a fallstreak is a rare hole in a cloud formation.
It is caused by complicated environmental conditions, but you can click here if want to know more detail.
Its other names include punch-hole cloud, hole-punch cloud, skypunch, canal cloud or cloud hole.
The picture below shows another dramatic example of the cloud type. It was taken by wildlife photographer Kev Lewis in 2012.
