MORE than 50 ciders and perries and 144 different beers will be available to try at the 15th Bromsgrove Beer and Cider Festival.

Volunteers from the Redditch and Bromsgrove branch of Campaign for Real Ale will be welcoming festival-goers at Bromsgrove Rugby Club from Thursday, June 29 to Saturday, July 1.

Guests can take part in tasting sessions or bring a gazebo to set up pitch on the grass. Blackwell Concert Band will be providing entertainment on Saturday.

A wide range of food will be available and this year's festival will also play host to West Midlands Region Beer of the Year contest.

The event will raise money for Parkinson's UK which improves quality of life for people affected by Parkinson's in Bromsgrove and beyond.

Thursday has been benchmarked for CAMRA members only but those wishing to join can also attend between 6pm and 11pm. All are welcome on Friday from 12pm to 11pm and Saturday 11am to 9.30pm.

Admission costs £10, which includes a programme, £5 worth of drinks vouchers and a deposit for a commemorative glass. CAMRA members receive £7 in vouchers.
