THREE schoolgirls from Worcester raised money for a charity that helps terror victims.
Brooke Thornelow, Daisy Baker and Lacey Ratcliffe, all aged 9, raised £35 for the UK Solidarity Fund by making loom bands and selling them during break time at Cranham Primary School, Worcester.
Rachael Thornelow, Brooke's mother, said: "The girls all decided to do it off their own backs and all three parents are very proud of them.
"At such a young age to think to do such a selfless act is amazing.
"The girls spent hours after school making the bands and sold them every Monday."
The UK Solidarity Fund was set up by the British Red Cross following the terror attacks in London and Manchester.
The money raised will support people who have been injured, bereaved or traumatised by terror attacks in the UK, helping to alleviate immediate suffering and ensure that victims and their families do not face short-term financial difficulties.
