WITH heavy winds and rain continuing to lash the region - Dudley's environmental team has been busy dealing with fallen trees.
Dudley Council says it has responded to numerous reports of fallen trees across the borough including at the household waste recycling centre in Stourbridge and Amblecote Road.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, the council's cabinet member for enironmental services, added: "Our officers have made areas safe and advised any land owners where necessary."
She urged people to report any issues to Dudley Council Plus on 0300 555 2345 and has advised people to take care when out and about amid the current weather warning from The Met Office.
She added: "In the meantime, we have a rigorous programme of inspection to identify any issues with trees, or those highlighted by residents, and where found to be diseased or damaged acting on them accordingly.”
