POLICE are increasing patrols in the Winyates area of Redditch after an arson attack at a house.
The incident happened on Dolben Lane at around 11.45pm on Friday (September 21).
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and the incident is being treated as arson.
There were no reported injuries.
Detective Constable Carrie Barnes of Redditch CID said: "An investigation has been launched and officers are carrying out enquiries.
"We understand this incident may cause some local concern, but would like to reassure the community this is being thoroughly investigated and as part of that residents may see an increase in police patrols.
"If anyone witnessed the incident or has any information, please call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 908s of 21 September 2018."
