A MOBILITY scooter driver who was killed in a crash in Much Birch has been named.
Steven Berry, 62, died on September 16 when his mobility scooter crashed with a car on the A49, near to the Axe and Cleaver pub.
An inquest has been formally opened into Mr Berry's death at Herefordshire Coroner's Court.
Medics from two ambulance crews and the Midlands Air Ambulance attended the scene and bystanders performed CPR on Mr Berry but he died later at hospital.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.
