UP to 30 people hiked to the summit of the Worcestershire Beacon to show their opposition to potential developments off Guarlford Road in Malvern.
The event was organised by Friends of the Commons of Malvern, which was formed after residents of the Guarlford Road area found about the proposals.
They were tipped off by an application to Malvern Hills Trust for an easement, or permission to cross the common land which lines Guarlford Road, to access a potential development site off Chance Lane.
Stacey Tideswell of the group said: "The group enjoyed the far reaching, glorious views towards Guarlford and beyond, which could be destroyed if Malvern Hills Trust allows residential easements into the field."
