A BROMSGROVE mum has launched her own sex doll company, offering ‘customised’ figures to look like bereaved customers' dead lovers.

Jade Stanley's Sexdollofficial.com personalises sex dolls to include scars, tattoos and piercings, and can even be made to look like celebrities.

The mum-of-four said: “The press have picked up on just one part of it, which is quite frustrating because that’s only one part of what we do.

“It could be rented, it could be for people with disabilities, people who are socially awkward, I offer a completely different service.

“There are other customisations I do, including celebrities.

“We can do anything that anyone requests.”

Jade said other companies provide customised sex dolls but their customisations are limited, offering customers a choice of just 10 torsos and 10 heads to choose from.

She added: “They can talk to myself and my colleagues, give us a picture. We have a number of conversations. It is very, very detailed.”

Jade said sex dolls that look like their deceased spouses can offer comfort to bereaved people.

“It is very therapeutic," she said. "I think what we are finding is the amount of the older generation of people who have lost loved ones and suffer from loneliness is massive.

"If I can help with that problem, then it’s absolutely brilliant. We are offering comfort at someone’s time of need.”

Jade is now in talks with a psychologist who is going to write a testimony on the benefits of people using sex dolls.

Her target market includes the elderly, socially awkward people, people with conditions that prevent them from going out, dementia sufferers and people in nursing homes.

“We need to take the taboo away from this item," said Jade. "It’s not something to be mocked, it's something that can help."

Last year, psychologist Emma Kenny appeared on ITV’s This Morning with presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, criticising the sale of sex dolls claiming it objectifies women.

Jade disagrees with this view, explaining: “I actually think it is quite empowering.

“Women run this company. We are taking control of an industry and making it no longer a taboo.

"Why should women’s bodies be a taboo? It is nothing to be ashamed of.”

Jade said Sexdollofficial.com is the only sex doll company in the world that offers a rented service, which launched two months ago.

“There is no certain demographic," she said. "It’s young, old, men, women. It is for so many different people. “
