AS Tory MPs prepare to vote on the future of Theresa May, Sajid Javid has thrown his weight behind his boss.
The Bromsgrove MP and Home Secretary has already made it clear Mrs May has his support.
In a tweet Mr Javid says the country does not need a leadership contest at this time.
The last thing our country needs right now is a Conservative Party leadership election. Will be seen as self-indulgent and wrong. PM has my full support and is best person to ensure we leave EU on 29 March

If Mrs May loses a no-confidence vote by MPs tonight the Conservative Party will need to choose a new leader, and Mr Javid has often been touted as a front-runner for the top job.
The vote of no-confidence in the Prime Minister was triggered after the chairman of the Tory MPs' back-bench committee, Sir Graham Brady, received 48 letters from Tory MPs of no-confidence in their leader.
The result of the no-confidence vote will be known by 10pm this evening.
