THERE is a chance for volunteers to get involved in helping to create and protect habitat at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms.
In particular help is needed to work on the Onny Meadows site that provides a wildlife haven.
The centre is home to many species including butterflies and dragon flies.
It also provides habitat for a wide variety of different birds that will soon be looking to build nests ready to start breeding young in the spring and early summer.
The Discovery Centre is also used as a base for education about wildlife and the natural world.
Regular ‘Discovery Club’ sessions are held for young children including projects in the Meadows.
