Ashfiled House welcomes the year of the pig
THAT'S a strange looking pig at Ashfield House Care Home, Leominster.
The Chinese Year of the Pig was ushered in at the home by the Kuidetang Lion Dance Troupe from Worcester.
Residents and staff were joined by children from the nearby Bargates Nursery.
Included in the celebration was a visit from the God of Wealth and Miss Spring, bringing Health, Prosperity, Longevity and Happiness to all at the home.
The visit was concluded with the traditional gift of giving red envelopes containing coins. On this occasion they were made of chocolate, which the children enjoyed feeding to the dancing lion.
