A NEW pub and grill has opened at a Dudley hotel, after £500,000 of investment.

The Village Hotel at Castlegate has launched a brand new pub and grill, which is open to the public as well as gym members.

Highlights of the relaunched pub include a weekly tropical Tiki night every Friday, with Tiki cocktails and island food.

The pub includes giant TV screens showing the latest sports action and will serve an unlimited four-course carvery every Sunday.

The revamp comes along with a new general manager at the hotel, Andrew Rathbone and the launch of a new project called Village Green which will see staff at the hotel commit to 30,000 hours per year to volunteering in the community.

Andrew said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining Village Hotel Club Dudley at this pivotal moment. Our new pub and grill is a space for locals to come together, socialise and make new memories. It will also be a key part of the Village Green initiative – we want to make sure we are using this amazing space to support charities and local groups and give back to the community. We have lots of fun activities planned for the year, so watch this space."
