A TEENAGER has been injured during violent disorder in Bromsgrove town centre.

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which involved 'a number of people'.

The disorder happened just off Bromsgrove High Street on Sunday, June 2, but details have only just been made public.

At around 4am, it's reported a number of people were involved in a disorder in an alleyway off Mill Lane in Bromsgrove.

Investigating officer PC Dan Icke, based at based Bromsgrove police station, said: "We are investigating a report of violent disorder and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to please come forward and contact us.

"It's believed several people were involved at the time and an 18-year-old man from the Alvechurch area required paramedics treat an injury to him.

"If anyone witnessed the incident, please call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 0131s of the 2nd June 2019."
