A POPULAR choir from Alcester will be performing at one the UK's most prestigious venues.
Following a successful and sell out concert at Worcester Cathedral, Alcester Male Voice Choir will be performing at St Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle in July.
The choir last appeared there some four years ago and delighted an international audience with a special recital.
Judith Land BEM, the choir's founder and director of music, said: "We are delighted to be asked back to Windsor. To sing in one of the nation's most iconic and beautiful buildings is both an honour and a privilege.
"We shall be singing 'a cappella', and the 40 minute programme will comprise a variety of both sacred and secular music sung in English, Welsh, German, Latin and Zulu."
The choir will be performing on July 11.
