EGGS were thrown at cars, houses and businesses in Bromyard over the weekend.

People living on Winslow Road, Old Road and down the town's High Street said it happened in the early hours of Sunday morning (June 24).

One resident witnessed the incident and said he understands the 'public outrage' it has caused.

"I can say that one small vehicle had been speeding on the streets of Bromyard on Saturday night and I can see them throwing eggs onto my neighbour's car.

"The driver focused on the control of the car as Winslow Road is quite narrow road with cars parked on both sides and most often just wide enough for one vehicle to pass.

"The passenger threw eggs out the window and the car made couple of circles during the early hours.

"I understand that the incident caused public outrage and I agree with it, but giving them publicity is just what these kids want."

Police in the town are looking into the incident.

Bromyard's safer neighbourhood team said: "All we know at this time, is that eggs have been thrown at vehicles and properties in Bromyard.

"We do not know who is involved as of yet, but we are doing some enquiries."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
