A MOTORCYCLIST has been flown to hospital after a crash to the east of Hereford today.
The emergency services were called to the A417 between Burley Gate and Newtown Cross this afternoon.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said the collision involved one car and two motorbikes.
An ambulance service spokesperson said crews were called to the scene by an off-duty paramedic at 1.49pm.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, an emergency doctor and the Strensham air ambulance attended the scene of the crash.
One male was seriously injured in the crash and was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham.
Three others were assessed by paramedics before being taken to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
