AN oil spillage is causing tailbacks and long delays to motorists getting on and off the M5 at Bromsgrove this afternoon (Wednesday).
The spillage has closed three of the four lanes at the Junction 4 roundabout.
Highways England said it was trying to treat the spillage as soon as possible.
They estimated the situation was unlikely to be cleared until around 4.30pm today.
However, the agency then tweeted at around that time to indicate the problem could continue into the evening rush hour.
UPDATE - we are still working to clean up the spillage at the #M5 #J4 #Bromsgrove Roundabout. please bare in mind delays at the #M5 #J4 #Bromsgrove Exit slip roads and approaches to #J4.
