POLICE in Hagley are appealing for information after a large amount of meat was stolen from a store - using a wheelchair.

Two white males entered a convenience store on Worcester Road, Hagley.

The first male, described by police as having blonde/ginger hair, with glasses, wearing a grey coat and dark jeans, came into the shop and pretended to be sick.

The second male, aged 40/50s, in a wheelchair, then stole a quantity of meat, while staff were distracted.

The male in the wheelchair was wearing a grey hoody with white striped shoulders.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch via 101 quoting incident number 0266s 170919.

The incident happened on Monday, September 16 around 7.30pm.
