EMERGENCY services were called after a van and a lorry crashed in Leominster this morning.

An ambulance service spokesperson said paramedics were sent to Southern Avenue at 9.06am today.

Firefighters from Leominster and Kingsland fire stations were also called to the crash amid fears that someone might have been trapped in one of the vehicles.

On arrival, they found no-one was trapped in either vehicle. The occupants of the vehicles were assessed at the scene, but had escaped without injury.
