REDDITCH'S 'unofficial Christmas' lights have been turned on.
Barbara Jones, who lives in Johnson Close in Abbeydale, has been has been decorating her house for years - to the delight of not just the area but the town.
She is well known for her lights and displays, and this year she will be raising money for a good cause.
The lights are on now and will be on everyday between 4pm and 10pm.
Babara's daughter Melissa said: "Christmas was always a big celebration in our house growing up and it’s still continued after we all left home, and we all still get together at Christmas and all the grandchildren now love the decorations.
"We always decorated the house but it’s just got better as the years went on.
"They have lived at various addresses in Abbeydale and always decorated the house and since moving into the bungalow three years ago have been decorating the garden.
"Families in the area look forward to seeing the lights."
She added: "This year we decided to collect for a charity and chose The Primrose Hospice. There is a collection box in the garden.
"She always likes seeing the children’s faces when they come to see the lights and often gives out chocolates to the kids."
