A DOG, although muzzled, has attacked a man in Redditch town centre.
Police in Redditch are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a border collie outside Redditch Library.
Police have said that the collie attacked and injured the man who had bent down to stroke the owners other dog, a Chihuahua.
The black and white border collie, although muzzled, bit the man on his shoulder.
A police spokesman said: “We’ve been making local enquiries into this incident and we’re really keen to hear from anyone who can help us to identify the owner of the dog.”
The incident happened on Monday, November 4 between 4.45pm and 5.15pm.
Anyone with information that could help locate the dog and its owner are asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 0196S of 5 November 2019.
