TODAY is polling day and the four West Worcestershire candidates are each making one last pitch for your vote.

Harriett Baldwin, Beverley Nielsen, Samantha Charles and Martin Allen are all hoping to become the new MP for West Worcestershire.

Here is what they are saying as the polls open:

Harriett Baldwin: Conservatives

"Vote Conservative to Get Brexit Done and move on with your priorities - the NHS, fairer school funding and more police.

"Every single Conservative candidate has pledged to vote for the Withdrawal Agreement agreed with the EU.

"We only need another 9 seats to have an overall Conservative majority.

"This election is very close. Another hung Parliament would mean Jeremy Corbyn in Number 10, another EU referendum and another referendum in Scotland.

"The country can’t afford another year of either and delay.

"So vote Harriett Baldwin, Conservative on December 12th."

Samantha Charles: Labour

"This election will shape our country for a generation

"People say this is the Brexit election. It’s also the climate election, the NHS election, the education election, the poverty election.

"I am not prepared to see communities blighted by lack of investment, cuts to vital services, millions struggling to manage, while tax cuts are handed to the richest.

"I will work hard for you to put things right.

"Only Labour can get the Tories out in West Worcestershire.

"We won more votes than all other opposition parties put together in 2017.

"Vote Samantha Charles for Labour for all our sakes."

Beverley Nielsen: Liberal Democrats

"I’m standing as a local to protect our environment and stand up for our people.

"I represent moderate, progressive liberalism in contrast to the extremism of both main parties.

"I’m determined to Stop Brexit and Stop the Johnson deal which will make us poorer.

"We need a People’s Vote to resolve the crisis.

"I’m fighting for our small and family businesses that employ and buy locally.

"I want to protect our rights as EU and UK citizens to live, work, study, travel and trade across 28 nations.

"I want us to get the best deal possible for our children."

Martin Allen: The Green Party

"This is the Brexit Election, it should be the self-preservation election, sadly it isn’t.

"In West Worcestershire we already know who will win.

"So, for you it’s a free vote, no need for tactical voting.

"Here you can vote with your heart and your head. You can be true to yourself.

"By voting Green you will force the other parties to be honest with their Climate Emergency promises.

"Vote Green to save our planet - You have little time; your Grand Children have none.

"If not now, will we have time for when?"
