A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was rescued from the River Wye last night.
Firefighters from Ross-on-Wye and Whitchurch were called to reports of a person in the river at the Rope Walk meadow in Ross at 9.17pm, a spokesperson said.
The water rescue team was launched to rescue the man.
He received trauma care from fire crews and paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
