YOUNG people from across the Bromsgrove district can enjoy sports, activities and healthy food this February half term as part of the Active Kitchen scheme.

Bromsgrove District Council, working in partnership with YMCA Worcestershire, will be running fun activities and providing a healthy meal for anyone aged 9-16 years old in Catshill, Charford, Rubery and Sidemoor next week.

Activities will include dance, skipping, football, rugby, basketball, dodgeball, cricket and more in the sessions which run from 12-2pm.

Catshill Baptist Church in Milton Road, Catshill, will host the two-hour sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday (February 18-19).

There will be three days of sessions at St Andrew's Church, Lyttleton Avenue, Charford, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (February 18-20).

St Chad's Church on New Road, Rubery, will host the scheme on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Finally, the New Song Community Church on Broad Street, Sidemoor, will welcome the project on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (February 18-20).
