Meet some of the local key workers you have already told us about.

The Halesowen & Dudley News and the Stourbridge News would like to thank all the local key workers who have stepped up and stepped out to work during the coronavirus pandemic.

From nurses to shop workers, postmen to firemen and binmen to care home workers – we can never thank you enough.

Next week will be publishing a list of names of those local key workers who have kept us safe and kept us going throughout the pandemic in a special pull-out supplement.

Here are just a few of the local key workers who you have already told us about.

What is your response?Claire Thompson and Lydia Parker have now been locked down at Brockswood, a local animal sanctuary, away from their homes now for 8 weeks! They are stopping there to ensure they remain safe and healthy so that the animals are still cared for 24/7 while other staff are shielding. Not officially recognised as key workers but animals still need to be rescued/cared for too at this time.
