THIS was the dramatic scene when a water main burst.
The water main caused havoc in Malvern yesterday morning.
Photos show the fountain erupting from the pavement early on Thursday morning (June 4).
The water main burst at the junction of Mayfield Road and Townsend Way and was reported at around 4.30am.
Worcestershire County Council's highways department confirmed Severn Trent were on site and fixing the problem and that there were temporary lights in place.
Residents reported having low water pressure as a result of the incident, which comes after Severn Trent asked the public to save water where possible due to the recent hot weather.
