A TEACHING assistant has been charged with engaging in sexual activity with a child.
49 year-old Richard Perrin, of Canon Frome, Ledbury, will appear at court in Worcester on July 20 to face charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child and abuse in a position of trust.
Until then he has been remanded in custody.
